In 2017, the Doggies fan featured in a series of commercials for the AFL and earlier this year he took celeb pal Matt Damon to a game.

While he’s currently building his mega-mansion in Byron Bay, Hemsworth keeps a pretty close eye on the progress of his beloved Western Bulldogs.

It’s no secret that Hugh Jackman loves coming back home so when he’s not in New York enjoying his penthouse, he can be found at the beach in Bondi.

As a true Aussie, the Port Adelaide fan also regularly attends games, which has led to some memorable experiences.

He said one of his most embarrassing moments came a few years back when he was asked to give the players a pep talk at half time when the team was losing.

He told the radio hosts at Nova 91.9 that all he could muster was, “‘guys…go get ‘em…good luck…I think you’re great, go kick some goals!”.

Shane Warne

While he’s a cricket legend, Shane Warne was also once listed in St Kilda’s under-19 squad.

While he prefers living in Brighton rather than St Kilda, Warne dons the red, black and white every footy season and the prolific tweeter is happy to share his thoughts about this beloved Saints with his 3.46 million fans.

St Kilda president Andrew Bassat has hinted at getting Warne more formally involved with the club through a potential board position.
